"back to blue" by Carl Fehres
“Back to Blue” is a photographic essay by Carl Fehres. A collection of whimsical color images photographed on film and Polaroid between the Palm Springs desert and the beaches of Deauville. Limited to 500 signed and numbered copies including 48 special edition copies.

We created this zine with the intention of staying as true as possible to the spirit of the original darkroom prints. Just like the originals—bold, vibrant, and printed on thick glossy paper—we selected a similarly weighty stock, finished with a glossy UV varnish to bring the colors to life. There’s no binding, allowing the pages to lay flat with minimal disruption from the fold—perfect for the many images that flow seamlessly across the spread.

- 56 inside pages Offset printed on Glossy paper 115 gr
- All pages with Glossy UV varnish
- Cover printed in offset CMYK on 200 gr paper with glossy lamination

Standard Edition
Includes a signed and numbered zine with PVC screen printed sleeve for safe storage.
Special Editions
The special edition includes the standard edition zine plus a signed 8x10 inch print. There are 6 different prints available as shown below. There are only 8 of each print available.
